"Wrapped my soul in chains..." [Annie Hughes // The SIXTH SENSE]
Annie Hughes was born, raised and lived within a small town within the United States and lived a pretty normal life...Considering the secret she hid. Ever since she was a little girl she was well aware of her ability, having once or twice mistakenly using it upon the wrong people and erasing memories or for those less fortunate stealing their abilities. Of course ever time she done so she found herself becoming more and more ill, unaware that her abilities drain upon her life itself.
Annie was unaware of the news that was spreading about her 'gift' and soon a man turned up, asking the 'right' questions while she was at work. Annie accidentally slipped up, saying the wrong thing to the wrong person, unaware of the consequences. Upon returning home Annie discovered her power had gone, and she soon found the man within one of her rooms. She was startled and scared, but she never thought once to run and became captive to the man.
The 'Doctors' and the Government soon arrived to collect her, and she struggled to be free but she was unable to. Hearing the comments of tests scared her even more, screaming out for them to let her go. Before they loaded her into the truck to transport her back she escaped briefly, long enough to over hear what the town was being told about her. She had no where to return. Due to this Annie agreed to help the government and the Doctors, helping to capture others like her.
Abilities; Nullification (It only works briefly, mainly when she feels she is in great danger or those she cares for is) and Erasing Memories. Both ability shorten her life span when she uses them.
I originally was going with Mulan, but she was taken. ^^; Then I was going to go with Tuptim but I found her somewhat hard to work with for the idea I wanted, and then I discovered Annie from The Iron Giant and I fell in love with the character and I had to use her.
